Would like to know more about Vibration Training? Whole Body Vibration is a revolutionary concept in muscle training. It is a low impact method that only takes 10 minutes compared to an hour of conventional training. Below is the benefits, the history and explanations of how it works. Benefits of VibroTraining Increased Power and Strength Through Vibrotraining your body learns to use even rarely activated muscles. This way your whole body will gain strength and power without having to train more intensively. Body in Balance The Vibrogym trains the body's muscle reflexes and thereby restores a person's balance in everyday life. Burning Fat Vibrogym training stimulates the production of IGH-I hormone. Proof is given that this specific hormone helps burning fat tissue. Also an increased muscle mass goes hand in hand with a stronger metabolism which also results in burning more fat. Flexibility Because of an increased body temperature the blood vessels expand and the blood circulation of the muscles is improved. Also vibration training creates a greater relations of the muscle and helps achieve better flexibility. Reduces Cellulite and Stress Vibrogym increases the testosterone level by 7% after 10 minutes training session which improves strength, power and prevents cellulite also cortisol is decreased by 32% which helps reduce Stress Increased Bone Density As the vibrogym increases testosterone (this is a growth hormone) this accelerates the body's own calcium production which will help the skeleton stay strong. |

History of Vibration Training Vibration Training has been around for many years, starting in the form of massage and Vibration machines date back to early 1960's. With the introduction of the Space Programme vibration training moved forward in leaps and bounds, it was found to extend the periods of time cosmonaughts could stay in space without suffering the effects of zero gravity. Russian gymnasts also used vibration training and it remained a secret for many years and many of their top atheletes incorporated it into their training regime, have you ever wondered why the russians were always the best at power lifting and gymnastics!!!! In 1999 an aeronaughtical engineer and an Olympic strength coach got6 together and developed the machine that is now known as the Vibrogym, which initiated a VibroTraining boom all over Europe. this prompted a greater interest in VibroTraining with interest coming from all markets and has since been used by many professional athletes, rehabilitation and wellness centres and health clubs. Today, Vibrotraining is beginning to draw world wide attention. Various competitors have entered th market in the mean time but Vibrogym still stays the original and the best. |

Principles of VibroTraining For years we have tried to become stronger by adding weights to our training programmes. By adding extra weight to our routines, the muscle has to adapt to the load and in turn becomes stronger. What Vibrotraining does is change the effect of gravitational acceleration. It destabilizes the user in a controlled way by forcing the body to regain its balance, muscular contraction is automatically induced, even without conscious effort training effects are achieved. The main advantage of this type of muscle activation is that it uses nearly 100% of the muscle fibres whereas in conventional training you would only use 40 - 60% of the muscles fibres. This means deeper lying and hard to activate muscles are also activated which in turn leads to increase in the strength and stability of the vertebral column and pelvic floor! A good one for us girls!!!!!
